 General Release and Consent Agreement

To participate in the Match Made in 7 Event (“Event”), you must register and agree to be bound by this General Release and Consent Agreement (“Agreement”), as well as the rules associated with the Event (“Event Rules”) provided and confirm that you have read this Agreement.

You must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the Event.  By participating in the Event and signing this Agreement, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.  Participation in the Event is done so at your own risk.

Match Made in 7 (“MM7”) does not make any representation or offer any assurances with respect to other participants.  MM7 does not screen participants or verify personal information or any other aspects of their general background, character, or physical or mental health.  It is up to you to clarify these issues to your own satisfaction and you agree to take all necessary precautions in all interactions with other participants.  MM7 makes no representation or warranties as to the conduct of other participants.

MM7 does not guarantee that any participant will successfully match with any other participant.  You are solely responsible for your interactions with other participants.

By participating in the Event, you are agreeing that MM7, its affiliates, subsidiaries and their respective members, directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for any losses or damages whatsoever, direct, indirect, special, general, incidental and/or consequential, arising out of or related to participation in the Event, including, without limitation, damages arising out of communicating and/or meeting with other participants at the Event and the negligence of MM7.  Such damages include, without limitation, bodily injury, death, emotional distress, physical damages, and/or any other damages or losses. You understand that MM7 makes no guarantee, either expressed or implied, regarding your compatibility with any participant and by participating in the Event, you agree to assume full responsibility and risk with respect to the outcome of any relationship that may or may not arise between you and other participants.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MM7, its affiliates, subsidiaries and their respective members, directors, officers, employees and agents from any loss, liability, claim or demand, including attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to, arising out of, or related to your participation in the Event.

By participating in the Event, you authorize MM7 to use your name, and any and all photos, videography or other images captured and statements provided by you or in any way related to the Event, for purposes of perpetuity, including without limitation, art, editorial, advertising, trade and web use, without further compensation and hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photos, video footage, advertising copy or printed material that may be used in connection therewith, or to the eventual use that it may be applied.  Further, you agree to release MM7 from any claim related to the use of your name, photo, videography or other image captured or statement provided by you related to your participation in the Event.  This includes, without limitation, claims for slander, liable, defamation, violation of privacy, publicity, personality, and/or civil rights, depiction in a false light, intentional or negligent infliction of emotional distress, copyright infringement, and/or any other tort and/or damages arising from or in any way relating to your participation in the Event and/or use of your name, voice and/or likeness in connection with the Event or the promotion thereof in all media now known or hereafter devised.

All title, ownership and intellectual property rights, including rights to copyright, trademarks, service marks and logos (collectively, “Intellectual Property”) are vested MM7.  Nothing contained herein should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any license or right to use any of the Intellectual Property without the written permission of MM7.

By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Agreement, and are executing it knowingly, voluntarily and free from any coercion or distress.  You agree to abide by all of its terms.
